Curtis Blues is a specialist in preserving the tradition of acoustic Delta blues. His music is from the era of the 1920's and 1930's before the blues went to Chicago and Memphis in the 1940's and became electric band music.

As a musical historian his shows trace the roots of modern music in a style that appeals to all age groups.
